Message from Nicky Winkworth deputy chief marshal:
MARSHALS &
RADIO CREWS WANTED
www.somersetstagesrally.com
Saturday 24th April 2010 will see the running of the 32nd Somerset stages
rally.
On offer are quality Forest Enterprise Stages on the beautiful Brendon Hills on
the edge of Exmoor National Park. With central servicing and a compact road
route it makes this an economic event to compete on and with enquiries already
coming in, we hope that this year will once again be a fantastic event.
Betta Aquatics are once again the main sponsor for our rally and there will be
some 43 stage miles and 40 road miles including once again the infamous Porlock
hill toll road.
This rally is a round of BTRDA rally championship and the BTRDA Rally First
among several others.
As always with these kind of events, we can not run them without the help and
commitment of the many marshals who come and support us on the day.
Bearing this in mind we are looking for marshals, novice and experienced, time
keeping crews, start and finish crews, passage controls and radios to help us
run safely on the day.
If you feel you would like to come along and help us marshal on the day, please
get in contact by either telephone or email on the details below.
